By-Laws for FORN SIÐR – Asa and Vane Religious Community in Denmark – including the amendments from The Alting May 2005
§ 1. The name of the Religious Community is Forn Siðr – Asa- og Vanetrosamfundet i Danmark.

§ 2. The purpose of the community is:
- Worship of the divine forces according to the declaration of belief.
- To work as a contact point for worshippers of the old ways. To spread knowledge and understanding of our ancient Nordic cultural heritage. This includes the Edda poems and other ancient sources as well as through newer means of expression. To work for a general acceptance and official recognition of worship of the ancient Nordic gods on an equal footing with other religious communities.

§ 3. The community is non-political and non-missionary.

§ 4. Membership:
- Anyone who is Asetru according to the declaration of beliefs, and who wishes it themselves, can become a member of Forn Siðr. Parents can sign up under aged children, though never against the child’s will.
- For persons who are not of age (18 years), at least one of theiparents or guardians must declare in writing that they agree with the person signing up as a member.
- Membership, which is individual, becomes effective when the treasurer has received a completed, signed membership application and the first subscription payment. Persons under 15 years of age are considered to be youth members without the right to vote at Alting and other ballots. Membership of the community ceases when the treasurer has received a written statement to that effect from the member or if the member is more than one month in arrears of their subscription payment(s).
- Nazi behaviour or use of pagan symbols for nazi purposes is not compatible with membership of Forn Siðr.
- Members who by their actions damage the reputation of Forn Siðr, or who constitute a gross nuisance to other members, or break Forn Siðrs by-laws, can be suspended by the Board. The Board can decide to warn the member before going so far as to proceed with a supension. All Board decisions can be challenged at Alting. A suspended member has the right to defend him/herself at Alting. A suspended member cannot in any way represent Forn Siðr, ohold an official post in Forn Siðr. Suspension also means exclusion from Forn Siðrs mailing lists. A suspended member retains the right to receive member circulars and the community magazine (Vølse) until the first ordinary Alting, if subscriptions are paid as required.
- Final exclusion of the member can only be performed by an ordinary Alting with a 2/3 majority of the attending members with voting rights. If an ordinary Alting votes against the exclusion, the member is once again a full member of the community if subscriptions are paid up. If subscriptions are not paid up, the member can once again join the community by simply paying the subscription. An exclusion is binding until a new ordinary Alting votes otherwise.

The Alting (Altinget) is the highest authority of the community. All decisions taken in the community can be appealed to The Alting. The ordinary Alting is held every year preferably the 3rd weekend in May, The Board decides the precise place and time and makes all necessary practical preparations.
1. All members of the community who are over 15 years of age have the right to vote. For ballots concerning paragraph 10 part 4 and 6 the member must be of age ( 18 years) to have the right to vote.. Each member has only one vote. Ballots at Alting are legal irrespective of the number of members attending. Decisions are taken by simple majority of votes, although for changes to these by-laws and changes to the declaration of belief a majority of 2/3 is required. For disbandment of the community paragraph 11 applies.
2. If a ballot vote is equal, the resolution being voted on falls.
3. An accepted resolution comes into power immediately from the moment it is accepted unless otherwise decided. The text of resolutions presented subsequently is to be corrected to match already accepted resolutions, as a consequence of their acceptance.
4. Voting Rules:
a. For ballots where a 2/3 of the given votes are required, this means 2/3 of the given, valid votes. Though it is a requirement that at least 50% of the members, with voting rights, present have voted for the resolution. Members with voting rights are considered as being in attendance when they are registered by the Alting secretary. The secretary counts the number of members with voting rights before the start of Alting. If a member arrives later, or leaves before the end of Alting, this is to be reported to the secretary. It is possible to vote for and against a resolution. Blank votes are considered the same as a non-vote.
b. For elections to the Board, the names of candidates for election, up to a maximum of 7 (all posts) can be written on the ballot sheet. The order in which they are written has no special meaning. In the case of equality of votes between two or more candidates, a new ballot is taken with one name per ballot sheet between the two candidates. If there is still equality the choice is made by drawing lots.
c. A Written ballot must be taken if one or more of the [members] present requires it.
5. The call to ordinary Alting must occur no later than 2 months prioto it being held. Resolutions for the agenda must be received by the Board no later than 6 weeks before the Alting, and be accompanied by a short description of the reason for the resolution. The Board must inform the membership of the details of the agenda no later than 4 weeks before the Alting.
6. The agenda for the ordinary Alting is as follows:
a. Call for sanctuary of The Ting.
b. Election of Master of Ceremonys.
c. Election of Recorder.
d. Taking stok of number of members present who have voting rights.
e. Election of vote counters.
f. Report from the Board.
g. Presentation of audited accounts and budget.
h. Proposals received.
i. Election of Board members.
j. Election of account auditor.
k. Miscellaneous.
l. Closing of Ting.
7. An extraordinary Alting can be held with one month’s warning and is called by the Board or when at least 1/3 of the community members require it.

§ 6. Bestyrelsen
The Board consists of 7 people who after election distribute the posts among themselves, in that they select a Chairman, Vice-Chairman and a treasurer. All Board members are equal.
The Board takes care of all working decisions concerning the community in addition to contact to new members and the authorities.
The Board handles the operation of the community magazine and web site according to the regulations for these.
The Board must maintain secrecy concerning what they learn about members as a consequence of their work. The Board may not release lists of members or information that can be used to identify an individual member unless the relevant member agrees to this.
The Board can delegate work to persons outside the Board and in connection with this release personal information that is necessary fothe performance of the work, in return for which they must receive a guarantee that this information will not be passed on to third parties, or used for other purposes.
The board must arrange that there at least four [official Forn Siðr] Blót are performed a year. Suitable times to hold these Blót are the four main sun festivals [the two equinoxes and two solstices] or in connection with the Alting. The Blót are to be arranged by the board, if necessary in collaboration with one or more Blót-groups or individual members.

§ 7. Medlemsblad:
1. The name of the magazine is "Vølse - organet for hedensk sæd" [not translated to English as this is the official name of the magazine, which is in Danish language - ed.], with ISSN: 1397-8705. The magazine is the membership magazine of the community, and is published quarterly.
2. Contents of the Magazine:
a. Articles and letters published in Vølse are an expression of the respective authors’ opinions, which is not necessarily that of the community.
b. The editor, who is selected by the Board, chooses which material is to be published in Vølse. The editor is responsible fopublishing Vølse.
c. Disagreements between the author of an article and the editor are settled by the Board. The Board may also requests to the editoconcerning the contents of the magazine.
3. Magazine Economy:
The publishing of Vølse is financed by Forn Siðr - Asa and Vane religious community in Denmark. The Board decides upon the size of the part of the community subscription that is passed on to the magazine, and the price of a non-member subscription to the magazine. The budget for the community magazine (Vølse) is fixed by the Board in cooperation with the editor of Vølse.

§ 8. Hjemmeside

2. Web Site, Contents and Administration:
a. Text, graphics and sound which appear on the community web site are, unless otherwise stated, an expression of the standpoint of the community.
b. The editor (webmaster) is selected by the Board and selects and produces material for the web site in cooperation with the Board. The Webmaster is responsible for contact to the Internet service provider, for layout, administration and maintenance of the web site.
3. Economy:
Expenses in connection with maintenance and administration of the web site are covered by Forn Siðr - Asa and Vane Religious Community in Denmark

§ 9. Blótgruppernes tilknytning
1. A Blot Group is in this case considered as a group of people who gather for the worship of the divine forces in a way, which is in accordance with Forn Siðrs statement of beliefs and by-laws. This is valid both for organised Blot Groups with own by-laws and more informal groups.
2. In order for a Blot Group to consider itself associated with Forn Siðr and thereby receive a part of Forn Siðrs service (with regard to practical guidance, economic support etc.) and part of Forn Siðrs' rights (weddings, burials etc.), the group must select two members of its own Board, or inner circle if the group does not have a board, who are authorised to maintain contact with the Board of Forn Siðr.
3. These contact persons shall maintain the material which the Blot Group wishes to be used in Forn Siðrs information work. ( Blot Group Description, contact addresses, events etc.)
4. The contact persons must send a copy of the report from the groups' Ting annually, if the group holds a Ting, in addition to a copy of the revised by-laws for the group if the group has its own by-laws, and a copy of the report from the first Board meeting after Ting if the group has its own Board. Finally a count of the number of members in the group, and updated list of who are also members of Forn Siðr.
5. The Blot Group shall hold an official blot for worship of the gods under Forn Siðr regulations according to a duty rota. The blot-group places a Gode/Gyde at the disposition of the blot, and arranges the blot in accordance with Paragraph 12. All members of Forn Siðr, are welcome at these blot, which are er considered as sanctuary.
6. If a Blot Group breaks Forn Siðrs by-laws or in any otheway brings Forn Siðr into disrepute, Forn Siðr can suspend the groups' association with Forn Siðr. The Board has the right to repeal the suspension if the conditions which led to the suspension appear to be brought into order. The Board decision to suspend the group can be appealed to the first ordinary Alting in Forn Siðr, where it can be repealed by a simple majority vote. Forn Siðrs Board is required to place a resolution concerning this point on the agenda.

§ 10. Økonomi og hæftelsesforhold:
1. Forn Siðrs fiscal year is the calendar year.
2. The following years subscriptions are fixed by the Board of Forn Siðr prior to the annual ordinary Alting.
3. The only obligations of members for the obligations of the community are via their subscriptions.
4. Long term debts on behalf of the community can only be entered into if accepted by a vote to this effect at an Alting, or via postal ballot. The decision must be backed by a 2/3 majority in both cases.
5. If the membership accepts a resolution for this, all Board members must sign the debt certificate on behalf of the community.
6. Purchase of, or investment in, real estate, land and assets othethan state bonds, can only be decided upon by an Alting. A 2/3 majority must back the decision
7. The treasurer alone or two members of the Board of the community, can handle the community accounts during daily operations. Regulaprintouts of the community accounts must be sent to the Chairman.
8. The Board is obligated to store the community funds either in cash in a Danish bank or in Danish state bonds.
9. Operating funds must be stored in a safe manner, i.e. primarily in a Danish bank. Funds that the community receive as monetary gifts are to be stored in a special account with separate accounting. Use of the funds in this account are to be administered by the Althing.

§ 11. Til beslutning om opløsning
the religious community, a majority of at least 3/4 of the votes given on two seperate Alting held in immediate succession is required. The last of the two Alting must be called specifically for the purpose of disbandment. Upon disbandment, any assets held by the community are given as gifts to the National Museum with the specification that they be used for the collection of antiquities or similar held by the National Museum.

§12. Riter og sæder:
Throughout thousands of years, people have discovered that the performance of various rituals can connect them with the powers that be. In Forn Siðr we call on these powers by performing blot, sejd, rune magic etc. We have also created some personal rituals such as naming, weddings, burials, which we feel, are right to perform. We perform worship partly through the actions (rituals) which the worshipper finds best to come in personal contact with the gods, partly by the rituals which are performed at official Forn Siðr blots.
In the following - point 6 comes into effect when Forn siðr has attained the necessary size.
At that time this explanatory text will be removed.
1. Members of the religious community practice their faith in any way that the individual finds acceptable, as long as this does not break Forn Siðr’s by-laws or beliefs.
2. There are some basic elements and minimum requirements to the ritual of a blót or wedding carried out by a Gode/Gydje, as an official ceremony within Forn Siðr. These elements are described specifically under "Blot Ritual" and "Wedding Ritual". Changes to these official Forn Siðr blot rituals occur via cooperation between the Board and members performing the rituals during the previous year. Any changes must be confirmed by the next ordinary Alting. Apart from this, Blot Groups and individuals perform blot in accordance with ancient tradition. They can freely build upon and supplement the rituals according to own choice as long as these do not break Forn Siðrs by-laws or beliefs.
3. Blood sacrifice of animals (domestic animals which are customarily slaughtered [in Denmark]) is permitted as long as slaughtering occurs under dignified conditions and according to Danish veterinary law.
4. Any member of Forn Siðr, who is asked to carry out a wedding and who fulfils the requirements in paragraph 12, part 5 [the point immediately following] can apply to the Church Ministry for a one off license to perform a wedding and can if such is granted, can perform the ceremony at the given wedding. The Board is required to give assistance with the application and with the following administrative part of the wedding.
5. To be applicable to perform a wedding ceremony a member must have been a member of Forn Siðr at least one year. The board is required to examine the intended marriage ritual to ensure that it is in agreement with the By-laws of the community.
6. When a person has performed a legal wedding 3 times and 9 members of Forn Siðr state that the person is worthy and knowledgeable in the performance of weddings, the Board can apply to the Church Ministry that that person may receive a permanent licence to perform weddings.
7. The bridal couple may select that or those persons who they wish to perform the marriage ceremony. The Board can help with suggestions if the bridal couple wish this. It is completely at the discretion of the person or persons requested to accept this role or not. No reason fothe decision is required.
8. A bridal couple may be legally married in Forn Siðr, if at least one of them has been a member for at least 6 months. In special circumstances, the Board can grant an exemption from this requirement.
9. It must be emphasized that a divorce in Forn Siðr does not have any legal basis, but is solely a ritual for handling the individuals' beliefs and the emotional aspects of the divorce.
10. It must be emphasized that the naming ceremony (knæsætning) is a ritual for acceptance of the child into the family and to give the child its name. It is not an acceptance into the religious community. See § 4 for the rules of membership.
"Official Forn Siðr Blót Ritual"
For an official Forn Siðr blot the following are required:
1. At least one Gode and one Gydje (hereafter named the performers).
2. Three statuetes/pictures or symbols of the gods to whom the Blót [sacrifice] is made; for example - Oðin, Thor, Frey oFreya.
3. A drinking horm (by drinking horm we mean a container which can be used to drink from), and a potable fluid.
4. The Elder Edda must be quoted in one form or another.
5. A sacrifice of one kind or another must be performed. [Blood sacrifices may only be performed only if all within the circle agree to this.]
6. A communal meal. The participants may bring the food and drink individually, but the meal must be taken together.
The performers have full responsibility for ensuring that the blót ceremony is performed in a dignified manner. Theidecisions and manner of management of the Blót can be appealed to the Board of Forn Siðr, who can deny the relevant performers the right to perform a Forn Siðr blot again.
Any member who wishes to do so may apply to the board to perform a Forn Siðr Blót.
The board has always the right to deny an applicant the right to perform a Forn Siðr Blót.
A person who has been denied the role of performer by the Board has the right to have this tried at the next ordinary Alting is the performewishes this. In this case the case is tried in the same manner as a case for exclusion. See § 4 on membership in Forn Siðrs By-laws.
Only powers belonging to the Nordic world of gods may be worshipped at blot.
Before the start of blot, the participants are informed of the mannein which the blot will be performed.
The objects used to symbolise/represent the gods or powers to whom the Blót is performed are placed in the centre of the circle.
Any objects that are to be dedicated are laid in the centre of the circle before the participants take their place.
Participants arrange themselves in a circle with a performer at two of the principal compass directions [typically one to the east and one to the west]. The performers decide themselves who stands where. Additionally it is desirable that reliable, known people stand at the other two points of the compass. These may also have duties to perform during the blot if the performers desire it.
The numbered points following are obligatory parts of a Forn SiðBlót. The performers deicide if any, and in that case which, of the other (not numbered) points are to be part of the Blót being performed. The order of the rituals following point 3 “the free toast”, is determined by the performers
Other elements that the performers find suitable for the occasion may be included. Performers should ensure that the Blót ritual as a whole is suitable for a larger group of participants
A description of the intended ritual must be part of the invitation to Blót, that must be published on the Forn Siðwebsite and/oin the members magazine-(Vølse) at least 7 days before the last day to register as a participant. In this description there must be stated if there is intended to perform a blood sacrifice.
1. The Blót ground is dedicated (made holy) in the mannethe performers find most suitable.
One of the performers says a few words of own choice. A song may also be performed.
2. The horn is filled through the oath ring:- The performers walk into the centre of the circle. The Gydje holds the drinking horn and the Gode fills it through the oath ring. The Gydje drinks from the horn and passes it to the Gode.
Acclaimation of the gods:- (The horn is filled if this is not already done) the gods to be acclaimed and the gods chosen for the Blót and are represented by the symbols at the center of the circle are determined by the performers. The following is an example.
The Gode lifts the horn and calls "Hail Oðin". All members of the circle call "Hail Oðin". The Gode drinks from the horn and pours a little on the Oðin statue. Then he lifts the horn again and calls "Hail Thor". All the members of the circle call "Hail Thor". The Gode drinks a little and pours a little on the Thor statue. Then the horn is lifted again and the Gode calls "Hail Freya" (or "Hail Frey" if it is he who is represented by a statue). The members of the circle repeat the call of the Gode. The Gode drinks a little and a little is poured on the statue of Freya/Frey. The rest is poures on the earth for the spirits.
3. Free Toast:- (The horn is filled in the same manner as before and the performers return to their places.) Now the horn is sent clockwise around the circle from the east and all can hail their personal god, here and now, with a toast. (N.B. Only powers belonging to the Nordic world of gods may be worshipped at blot). When the horn arrives at the other performer they check that there is sufficient in the horn for the remainder of the circle. Otherwise it is refilled either as in point 2 or not..
Remembrance of the forefathers. This is done by the performers reciting some words of remembrance, ideally verses 75 or 76 from Hávamál, and each thinks about his/her deceased while a pause for remembrance is held. This can be done by a, for the occasion relevant, song, or a moment of silence. If the performers decide that it is acceptable, others in the circle can say a few words. This has to be agreed upon before the start.
Dedication:- Objects for dedication which were placed in the centre of the circle are now dedicated. The manner of dedication is decided upon by the performers and must of course be agreed upon in advance.
4. A Sacrifice is performed. How this is done is decided upon by the performers. Here too must the manner be agreed upon before hand.
Oathtaking:-Any oaths to be taken are made now, if the performers have decided that this will be done in the circle. This occurs in the following manner: anyone wishing to swear an oath lays one hand on the oath ring and swears the oath.
Speaking staff:- The last element of the blot consists of the passing of a speaking staff (eg. Staff, the oath ring or horn) around the circle as an indication that the holder is allowed to speak freely, as far as they speak truthfully and honestly, abusive language does not belong in the circle. The participants can then utter personal comments, sing songs or poems of choice if this is what they desire.
In the case of unexpectedly many participants or extreme inclement weather the speaking round may be put off until the following communal meal, if all in the circle are in agreement with this.
5. The participants leave the circle, and the blot meal can start.

"Vielsesritual"
The minimum content of a legal wedding in Forn Siðr are as follows:
That the ritual is performed by a licensed person, hereafter named performer, who is a member of Forn Siðr.
At least two persons of age (over 18 years old) must be present as witnesses during the whole of the ritual.
During the ritual, the performer asks the bride and groom individually if it is their wish that the married to the other part. as well as whether or not the individual is aware of what this means. The couple answers these questions individually. If both parties agree to the marriage by answering yes, the performer marries them in the name of Vår, and after that declares them to be married.
After this the couple are considered legally married to each other.
Otherwise, the couple to be married and the performing Gode/Gydje agree upon the ritual together. Here the individual parts of the ceremony, local traditions, personal wishes and/or texts can be included according to the wishes of the couple and the performing Gode/Gydje.
If participation of more than one Gode/Gydje is desired, the minimum requirements are to be performed by the Gode/Gyde with the license to perform a wedding, otherwise the marriage will not be legally binding.
If the couple to be married consists of two persons of the same sex, this is to be taken into consideration in the construction of the ritual and the wording of the ritual text.
NB. At this time Danish Law does not permit marriage of persons of the same sex by religious ceremony. Same sex couples must first receive a “registered partnership” (The Civil equivalent).

"Forn Siðr - Asa and Vane Religious Community in Denmark." Oufoundation is the Asetru religion. We trust and believe in the same gods that once gave our forefathers mening and help, the Aser and Vaner. Each individual deiety represents a facet of reality which cannot be denied. We recognise also elves/diser, vætter/spirits, fylgjer/vardyr, as well as jætter, Sun and Moon. Everything is part of - and a symbol of - our multifaceted world. The Ash Yggdrasil is the centre of the world where the wise Norns who control the past, present and future sit ans spin our destinies. All this goes under the common name powers - Regin. Contact between the powers and the individual person is granted to anyone who seeks it, each in his own way. We honour our forefathers, and hail them who will come after us. We consider mankind, animals, nature and holy places as full both of life and spirit. We treat the world around us with respect and considertaion. We consider all parts to be equally important to be a whole person in a whole world. In our holy texts, the Elder Edda says some of this in the following manner:

The ethical element in our faith is from the pagan values we find in the Edda poem Hávamál.
According to mythology, the world began by itself and we have no cleapicture of what is right and wrong. Hávamál gives us northerners some timeless and practical advice for living which it is reasonable to follow even today - more than 1000 years after this advice was formulated. Another set of ethics and a view of things which suits our Nordic mentality. Asetru is a way of life which is based on living with and in the world as it is. Our values are built on the natural. Love is for those one loves, loyalty for those who are close to one. You are the friend of your friends. Hospitality is expected and given. One respects other people. One is tolerant to them even though one does not always understand them. If one is threatened, one stands by his right. Dignity and self respect are important elements for the Asetru. Forn Siðr - Asa and Vane Religious Community in Denmark considers all people as equal. Noone is completely worthless, and it is in meeting ones destiny that the individual can show the contents of ones' character.

Beslutningsforslag vedtaget af Altinget 2005
1. Arrangørgruppe Altinget opfordrer Forn Siðrs bestyrelse til at oprette en arbejdsgruppe - herefter kaldet arrangørgruppen - som skal stå fodet praktiske arrangement omkring og afviklingen af Forn Siðr--arrangementer som et Alting. Altinget erklærer sig indforstået med, at bestyrelsen tildelearrangørgruppen de videst mulige beføjelser i såvel økonomiske som praktiske forhold. Bestyrelsen sammensætter gruppen blandt de frivillige, der melder sig, således at det på bedst mulig vis er sikret, at personerne kan arbejde sammen, og at der ikke opstår uenighed om mål og midler i forhold til bestyrelsens ønsker.2. Arbejdsgruppe Altinget opfordrer bestyrelsen til at oprette en arbejdsgruppe med mindst et bestyrelsesmedlem som „tovholder“. Arbejdsgruppen skal se på muligheden for at projektere og finansiere større Forn Siðr-.projekter som f.eks. gravanlæg. Gruppen skal i praksis arbejde med: * Konkret udarbejdelse af et projekt (arkitekttegninger, tilbud fra ingeniørfirmaer, etc.) * Ansøgning af fonde og tipsmidler. * At lave en vejledning for skattefradragsberettigede donationer fra medlemmer. * Anden finansiering.
3. Tipsmidler Bestyrelsen skal søge om tipsmidler med henblik på at give Forn Siðen bedre driftsøkonomi. Bestyrelsen bemyndiges til, såfremt der stilles krav derom, at få trossamfundets årsregnskab revideret ved registreret/statsautoriseret revisor, som udpeges af bestyrelsen.
4. Anvendelse af midlerne på gavekontoen Penge indgået på Forn Siðrs gavekonto oppares med henblik på at opkøbe jord eller støtte jordopkøb til ceremonielt brug for Forn Siðrs medlemmer. I særlige tilfælde vil midler fra gavekontoen kunne bruges til indkøb/fremstilling af ceremonielle effekter til brug fomedlemmerne. Beslutning om jordkøb foretages af Altinget, mens andre tilfælde af uddelinger er et betyrelsesanliggende.
5. Sølvgaven Sølvgaven bruges til at lave 4 årstidsedsringe og en Forn Siðedsring. Tanken er, at de blótgrupper der afholder Forn Siðblót kunne låne den pågældende årstidsring indtil det samme årstidsblót året efter. Detilstræbe, at fremstillingen af ringene udføres fokostpris, dvs dokumentærbare udgifter. Disse udgifter, samt evt. øvrige udgifter, i forbindelse med fremstillingen, vil blive afholdt fra de midler der er på gavekontoen.

Resolution vedtaget af Altinget 2005
Forn Siðr vil hermed give sin støtte til de kræfter, deønsker at lette folkekirken for de administrative byrder, som rettelig burde udføres af de offentlige.Vi finder ikke, at det er rimeligt, at vore børn eftefødslen skal indskrives på et af folkekirkens kontorer. Den kommunale forvaltning vil være et mere nærliggende sted fosådan en handling.
På samme måde mener vi heller ikke, at det er passende, at en sognepræst fra folkekirken skal virke som begravelsesmyndighed ved dødsfald af et af vore medlemmer, eller at en provst skal føre tilsyn med vore gravpladser, det være sig en gravplads i tilslutning til en kirkegård eller på privat grund.
Vi erkender folkekirkens særstatus som statskirke i Danmark, men mener ikke, at det kan være rigtigt på den baggrund, af andre trossamfund skal gå til folkekirken for at få udført handlinger, der rettelig hører hjemme i et trosmæssigt neutralt regi.
Forn Siðr ønsker respekt og ligeværd mellem de religioneog trosretninger, som dyrkes her i landet. Ingen medlemmer af det ene trossamfund bør tvinges til at gå til det andet for at få foretaget en lovpligtig registrering, ligesom ingen i folkekirkens præsteskab bør have nogen form fomyndighed over personer tilhørende selvstændige godkendte trossamfund.
